Beginning Wheel
Session 1: May 11 - june 20 | DURATION: 6-WEEKS
Students will learn the basics of wheel throwing and explore a variety of forms, including bowls, plates, mugs, and vases. Glazing techniques are also introduced, and most students create a large number of finished pieces.
You’ll have the option to choose from five types of clay, ranging from $17–$48 per 25 lb. bag, which can be stored at the Art Center. Class payment and clay purchases will be collected on the first day of class.
Note: For best results, please keep your fingernails short.
